Great solution, a sin tax to cover the increase cost of wind insurance. What ever happened to personal responsibility? If you want to live where the wind blows, then you should accept the full cost associated with the risk, including the additional cost for the insurance. I think it is time to tell the politicians to stop pandering to the few and stand up for all us.

Fine – there won\’t be any Casino profits for the entire state if no one can afford to live on the coast and work at the casinos. People on the coast do pay more – much more than the rest of the state. They also all don\’t all have beachfront or waterfront homes. They are not all rich people that can just decide or not decide to live where they live. It is not an easy task to pull up roots and move. The coast started as a fishing community – good, hardworking people who love their state and their cities.
