I\’m not defending this guy\’s fraud, but can anyone name any kind of license that actually guaranties quality of the person licensed?
    doctor
lawyer (bar admission is not really a license)
    driver
    pilot
    plumber
    electrician
    security officer, company
    insurance agent, company
    home, other construction builder
All a license really means is that the fee (tax) for the license has been paid.

Note that the complaint was not for bad dentistry, but he didn\’t have a license.
Everyone knows you are supposed to have a doctor license, but here\’s Today\’s quote:
There\’s no way to rule innocent men. The only power government has is the power to crack down on criminals. When there aren\’t enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws.

Actually a license implies proper education, at least. The licensing authorities do check on backgrounds and educations before issuing the licensing and usually a test is involved that must be passed. However, as you state, a license does not guarantee competency.

All fraudulent people are considered criminals….and they have to pay for their crimes…I think that both of them have to pay for it…

A license may imply a lot of things but it reality it only means the licensee has paid the fee (tax) for the license.
