I suppose the 81% closing could be true but how many of those claims are under $50,000? I have heard that anything over that amount must be preapproved and issued by Tallahassee. Also we had several Citizen adjusters tell our customer’s they were told to stall. Who is telling the truth? We still have many issues on Citizen’s claims.

I have the best story and I sent it to WPBF News, this dog n pony show has been stalled since Sept 7th. After lost adjuster, probably fired for adjusting claim right plus 3 more and one was Benn Bass AKA THE TERMINATOR AS HE CALLED HIMSELF SAYS CLAIM WILL BE EXPEDITED IN 7 DAYS! 3 1/2 months later and more adjusters how long can this show go on. What a waste of my damn money!

I know how frustrating it is to be an insured via Citizens, as I am. If you really want to get in touch, try these direct telephone numbers…

    Citizens 904-296-6105 x 130, 120, 140, 150, etc.

Allied American Adjusting (they really get bent out of shape when you call them)
    251-662-1412, 1413, 1415, 1416, 1417 etc etc.

My telephone bill was never higher, but I did get some satisfaction out of speaking to and bugging the people who actually have information on your policy!!!

    Good luck to us all!!!

Interesting comments, which we were among that high percentage that they contacted about dis-satisfaction with the adjusters and settlement. We have not heard from our adjuster since he did the original claim filing the day of the deadline in Florida and he won’t return our calls. When we contacted Citizen’s about the claim, they said they would contact us after they talked to the adjuster. We’re still waiting and that was weeks ago!
