I think that Stearns & Sutter are both right. Onyx had its issues (mostly in the claims dept) It grew too big for its own good. On the other hand our dear Tom of DOI is no better. His “consultants” are no better than 2 bit pirates. I saw 1st hand how they picked apart insurance companies after Andrew and keep the good parts for themselves and sold off the rest. Talk about the wolf gaurding the hen house!

The Fraynds have been funneling money cross company for years now. I know all about it; since at least 1998, when I started working there, till 2000, when I left. It was no secret to those in management, and although I was not a manager, I did work in Linda Stein’s office (Paul’s wife and VP of the company) with several of the managers so I did know they liked to shuffle money from one place to the other. They had LOTS of registered companies, many of which virtually all Onyx employees did not know exist(ed). It didn’t seem like corruption to me at the time, but it certainly was a shady operation. Anyone working near that executive office would have known that….

as a finance company that did buisness with aries I know and have proof that they were not returning excess premiums to insured.

I tried many times to speak out on this, but I guess my efforts were ignored.

And although every one in the industry knew that they were scam artists, the Department of Insurance, which does audits every year, did not notice it.

makes you wonder what they are doing up there.

Again a hit on the consumers pocket.

And by the way one of the reasons that my company had to close and let go of 15 employees

It’s about time that the Fraynd’s are getting what they deserve.

They think they can step all over everyone and steal they want for themselves, but hopefully their little game will come to an abrupt end. As they say, what goes around comes around, and that ‘family’ will soon get what they deserve.

Perhaps a few years in lockup will teach them not to practice their debaucheries here in the States….
