What isn’t being revealed in the press is the size of this woman. Apparently, they’re trying to be PC by saying she was “large framed” aka grossly overweight. The safety bar probably couldn’t be closed completly and she should have been escorted off the ride for her own safety. But we all know would follow: DISCRIMINATION CHARGES. Ride operators need more education on issues of physiology. Some people simply shouldn’t be allowed to ride. There are height restrictions for safety; why not weight?
