I guess I miss the point. While I am the last person looking for a ticket, the officer here is basically complaining that his superior is requiring him to identify 20-25 crimes a month and issue a ticket (an arrest) for the crime. So isn’t that what a policeman is supposed to do? Isn’t that part of the serve and protect deal?

I have to say 20 to 25 tickets a month do not seem like that many to me. Seems like it should be pretty easy.
