    It is too bad that TDI-DWC does not devote this level of time and efforts towards claimants and their attorneys who fraudulently take WC benefits. Instead, insurance co’s and medical providers are the deep pockets.
    TDI’s misplaced priorities such as these cause adjusters and carriers to pay claims that they do not owe so that they avoid outrageous penalties like these. Meanwhile, Texas companies pay the price with higher premiums and the Texas economy no doubt suffers also.
    Yes indeed, way to go TDI! Morons!
    BTW….where does this money go? Does it it help fund the uninsured or 2nd injury fund? OR to the budget of TDI for more regulators?
    Texas government is almost as bad as California’s – except we don’t have the climate and landscape beauty to help us offset the insanity.
