How could anyone but the surgeon be negligent? This jury somehow found out that if they properly pinned 100% on the surgeon, these money grubbing parents would only get $1,000,000. Even 1% negligence against the hospital opened the deep pockets. Since the surgeon was the only one holding the knife and making the cut…………….how could anyone else be negligent. Our legal system if badly flawed to allow this kind of chicanery.
you honestly have no idea what these parents have gone through. so to say that these parents are money grubbing is offensive to anyone that has had a child in the hospital for any reason. the entire hospital is at fault.
I’m sure they didn’t rush this boy into the emergency room one afternoon and do surgery on the spot. This type of surgery takes months of preparation and discovery. This verdict seems right. Many surgeons intimidate the nurses and staff to the point that no one questions what they do. Sad but true.
Apparently you have already had brain surgery and they got the wrong side on you also. Next time you have brain surgery have it at a quick stop med location where only one person knows what is going on.
Maybe your Red Neck got in the way of your brain surgery. Get real. The hospital staff was involved from start to finish. It’s a sad day when a hospital tries to close its eyes to its patients.
“Davis argued that hospital nurses weren’t adequately prepared and administrators didn’t thoroughly investigate Adada’s mistakes and promptly disclose them to the family, who didn’t learn for months the extent of the damage.”
Did your brain not have your eyes read this part? This was BRAIN SURGERY my man… not botox injections.

Donovan, We know you don’t have a heart, so at least go get a brain.
P.S. Make sure they put it on the right side. Oops, who cares….
