Professional athletes pose a much higher risk of injury and shouldn’t be covered under WC. They make enough money to afford their own disability policy. The general public shouldn’t have to pay for their assumption of risk in a contact sport. It’s less a question of “if” they’ll get injured as opposed to “when”.
Why is the entire state worried about Workers Comp for approx 100 people for the Saints ???? There are how many MILLIONS of people in this State and they are worried about the Saints.
