Feds Say Arkansas Pastor’s Abuse Victims Entitled to $2.7M Each

    Today’s Arkansas Democrat Gazette reports that the victims will receive $500,000 each after all of Alamo’s appeals are finished.

    “Dr. Sharon Cooper, a developmental and forensic pediatrician, said the women continue to suffer chronic back pain because they were forced to give Alamo massages every night while they were kept at his compound near Fouke.” Are you kidding me? I am not saying these incidents didn’t happen, but if your lawyer is claiming chronic back pain due to massages, I think you should look for a new lawyer.

    truly, i don’t understand how a massage given to someone causes chronic back pain. i can see the chronic back pain from the sexual abuse. sounds like the guy has plenty of money, just a matter of time to follow the paper trail. it’s a shame that we again, are finding preachers abusing kids. all the churches need to get a handle on this problem.
