OK – a bad problem. Boo Hoo. Sucks for you.
Cruel, but why is this my problem?
Namssa is right — to each according to their needs, from each according to their abilities is SOCIALISM.
And my abilities are getting drawn down in this administration. I’m about to give up my abilitis and get on the Obama Gravy-Train like everyone else is apparently.
How is the socialism? This is the Louisiana RECOVERY Authority. They are going to attempt to recover that money from the Chinese, I would assume, which is why it needs Federal approval (due to the foreign relations side of the deal). I would hate to believe you expect these individuals to try and recover their losses directly from the Chinese mfgs? Right. LOL.
The average Joe should be going after the contractors an suppliers of that drywall. Then the contractors should go after the suppliers and let the suppliers go after China. After all, it was the suppliers that started this mess to begin with. Cheap drywall that cost $.50 a board to make and ship and was sold for $15.00 or more.
Let the suppliers pick up the cost. Lowes, Home Depot and 84 Lumber, are you listening?
