does it matter if they have a gun or not? everyday we pass by folks they could have just even a small knife. again, i’ve had folks that think a car is protected when they have a dog in the car! you have some hunters that have their shotgun in the vehicle, unloaded of course.
rights will be rights! proper use of any weapon for the right use, is the way it should be. remember that it only takes 1 person to do the unthinkable and have everyone up in a roar.
always amazing to me the number of people (like Amy) who think it’s okay to pick and choose which of the Bill of Rights we need to have. they like their free speech, but don’t think the 2nd Amendment is still valid. why do you suppose the founding fathers decided to put it clear up in the #2 position instead of further down the list?????
I just love the blind comments about how damned smart the “founding fathers” were and that had the ability to foresee how society would develop. The suggestion is that nobody on the planet in the year 2009 is any smarter. The consitution is a great document but the very existence of amendments suggests there need to be some modifications along the way. Paul Kersey was a fictional charater in the Death Wish series. I haven’t heard of a real character nor have I heard how carrying a personal weapon has saved anybody recently. I only wish those who rant about their “rights” spent as much time on their companion “responsibilities”.
I accept the fact that some people like to shoot at targets and hunt. Fine. But packing heat in your car for no reason? Absurd. So are assault weapons. NOBODY should have those except the police and military.
I would suggest that everyone type in GUN FACTS in the box and click on search. there are more gun facts there than you can read in a week. most if not all of them are well backed up with documentation not found in the lying press and on television. nor out of gun control freaks either. Some of you are obviously not in the know. You just parrot ?facts? that you hear on tv or see in the newspapers. thank you your neighborhood sheep dog.
