I Was working a renewal one night and they called the office. I used all the info on my client (changed the name to protect the innocent) and was AGOG with the amount they wanted RIGHT NOW to issue an extended warranty! They would break it up over a year in easy payments of about $350/month….for a year….and would even bill my credit card monthly.
Needless to say, I did NOT buy the coverage…..but, sure wasted a bit of their time having some fun with them!
I’ve been getting calls from these scammers frequently even though i am on the gov’s donotcall list. The recent number they used to call by is 800 348 6489 but they can generate any number to make tracking harder. Please arrest these people so they would stop scamming unsuspecting victims!
