So, “Non-Hispanics”? Was the employment discrimination lawsuit filed by Blacks, Anglos, Vietnamese — these people are “non-hispanics”, right? Do any of you know on a first-hand basis whether Mexicans work there, or are you just spouting off because the work involves “physical labor” and workplace discrimination? Jobs moving to Mexico, ummm, to grow “rice”? I like rice, with jalapenos, green onions, avocado wedges, and chicken-broth and hot corn tortillas and a diet coca-cola. Especially during the winter. Don’t any of you? I bet you would, because (now this is only my personal belief) you are just as human as any homosapien on the planet. And, don’t forget: 99.99% of these Mexicans believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal Savior. Wouldn’t this mean more “rice” especially since gillions of Mexicans are just dying to do any kind of “physically challenging” work just to survive and to feed their families? This should drop the number of “illegals” into our country of Milk & Honey, and we’d have more rice to eat. Just think, you could have rice with egg and pico-de-gallo, rice pilaf, Campbell’s Chicken-and-rice, Rice-A-Roni, Rice pudding, and on and on and on……….. It’s good for you! Plus, no more employment discrimation lawsuits by those Mexicans…ummm…”non-hispanics”.

if it is happening just before the change in administration. Must have been better to work out the settlement with their fellow Republicans before the new sherriff, who is actually interested in protecting workers, comes to town…

    Tsk, tsk…

    Hey guys, unionize!

%350,000 less 1/3 for the lawyer divided by 609 leaves about $400 per victim – I guess the US Department of Labor is not an organization to mess with – what a joke!

    “Hey guys, unionize!”

Yeah, so that instead of Mexicans taking all the jobs, the companies will just move to Mexico!

Couldn’t they just say they misunderstood Equal Employment guidelines and were attempting to further “diversity” in the workforce?

“We’re sorry, sir. We were attempting to advance a more culturally diverse employee population by focusing our recruiting efforts on the Hispanic community who so often find they have difficulty in securing employment. In retrospect perhaps our ‘Only Beaners Need Apply’ ad might have been in poor judgement.”

Just goes to show you can never make everyone happy.
