Louisiana Officials Involved with Road Home should be Investigated for Fraud.
They hired an unknown company and prepaid millions for this company to distribute Grant money.
The People are not getting the money.
Road Home has created many ways to lie and stall issuing grants to the victims who really need the money.
Yet, they have already issued grants to many who did not qualify, calling this an error.
While Road Home continues to profit making millions in interest on this money,
They continue to sit on the money for profit, casuing the victims to suffer more.
Two years and they have not distributed the money to the New Orleans area.
They lie about the status and keep the victims in the dark.
Does anyone in America care about corruption that hurts innocent families?
The media puts LA Officials on the front page of Local Newspapers because he paid for a hooker. This is a family matter and they continue to add insult to the already injured family when this is none of our busisness.
What is our busisness is Officials that profit by causing the voters to suffer.
Where is the Media…when you need them?
Shame on Louisiana Officials that are involved in the scam.
One by one they will be investigated and called by name.
    I can’t wait.

What a joke! the Long Road Home! I wonder how many are getting kickbacks! The people working in these offices don’t know if they are coming or going. Personally, I wish they were going and let people who know what they are doing come in.
Since Nov., they have told my friend they would buy her out. Since then she has gotten nothing but the run around. The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. One person should handle each case from start to finish and not drop it on who ever’s desk is available.

    “Government Accountability Office”?????
If there was any accountability our taxes would be significantly less. The amount of governmental waste/excess is fatal illness in this country. The governments response to any challenge is “we’ll throw more of the taxpayers money at the problem”. Nobody is ever fired. The worst part is that the next major gulf hurricane is likely to cause just as much damage as Katrina. You don’t build cities below sea level and think an earthen levee system is going to protect it.

The people of LA (New Orleans) are ‘victims’ only if they choose to be.
I admire the people who decided it started with them. The change starts with each individual. Help yourselves and others will want to help you. These aren’t the ones screaming out against the world.
LA keeps voting in the same crooked politicians and then they cant understand why they are in the bind they are in.
The company who was hired to handle the Road Home program seems to be constantly hindered from doing more, by the personal agendas of local politicians and con artist. You build in a mud puddle, your gonna get muddy.
