Lets just agree to disagree. I can\’t see the comparison. There are so many more cars and car accidents I can\’t see it. Without a helmet the head is totally unprotected in a motorcycle accident. At least in a car, when buckled up, you have a safety cage around you. When the idiot backed out in front of my bike, if I hadn\’t been wearing a helmet a chunk would have been taken out of my skull. I have been alive for the last 37 years due to a helmet. No skill would have changed the fact I had an accident due to the stupidity of a driver. Nothing else but the helmet saved my life. The people that want bugs in their teeth and I will never agree on this subject. My last posting on this one.

The burden of dollars spent on head injuries belongs to the automobile borne head injury and not motorcycle borne head injury.

I ride. I wear a helmet. Cervical spine injury is directly correlated to my wearing a helmet. My choice, my burden.
