On the other hand, according to the article they did come forward and admit their fault. I’m not a State Farm person but I hear of alot of companies that the State has to go after them to correct their errors.

I don’t believe that it is likley that it was just a mistake to not brand the titles salvage. A company that does deceitfull acts as these should not be alowed to do business in our State.

DARRELL, IF YOU FOLLOW THAT LOGIC YOU CAN WAVE GOOD-BYE TO FARMERS, ALLSTATE, PROGRESSIVE AND SEVERAL ALSO. I WAS AN ADJUSTER FOR OVER 20 YRS. THE AUTO TOTAL LOSS/SALVAGE TITLE GUIDELINES WERE NOT ALL THAT EASY TO FOLLOW, AS IT USES FORMULAS TO DETERMINE A THRESHOLD TO CONSIDER IT SALVAGE OR NOT. I HAVE BEEN OUT OF ADJUSTING FOR THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS, BUT THIS HAPPENING DOES NOT SURPRISE ME ONE BIT. AT LEAST THEY STEPPED UP TP THE PLATE. THAT IS MORE THAN I CAN SAY FOR A LOT OF THE OTHER “MAJOR” CARRIERS.
