I was involved in an automobile accident in Pennsylvania on 4/5/17, the statute of limitations is nearly lost. My daughter and I were hit twice while we were in a funeral procession. We followed all the rules in place as outlined by the statues of PA. The Funeral Home failed to provide everyone in the processional with pennants. I had to ask for one before we left the funeral home and were traveling to the graveside. Not only were there no police escorts for the trip on a Highway, there were not any at any busy intersections in the town that we were hit in. The young girl that hit our car not once but twice, was not even given a citation for the accident. Her insurance company is refusing to accept liability or responsibility for the total loss of the use of our vehicle, any medical costs, and/or other damages. This is wrong, the law firm I thought would represent me has taken more than a year and a half that they are not going to litigate. This is wrong. Is someone going to have to die before the courts set some precedent somewhere? I pray no one ever gets into an accident while in a funeral procession.
