Appriss Inc., the provider of www.BuyCrash.com, has acquired Docview LLC and Deep River LLC, two leading providers of crash reports via convenient e-commerce options.

Docview (www.Docview.us) and Deep River (www.GetCrashReports.com) have established partnerships with nearly 1,000 law enforcement agencies by delivering efficient convenience options to authorized parties needing fast, easy and online access to their official crash reports.

Through these additional agency partnerships, Appriss crash report coverage now totals nearly 4,000 law enforcement agencies, or roughly 25 percent of the accredited agencies across the country.

“We are building on our commitment to law enforcement and the communities they protect to offer the most efficient and convenient solutions to collect and securely deliver accurate information in the timeliest manner,” said Michael Davis, Appriss CEO. “The addition of Docview and Deep River provides us an opportunity to deliver comprehensive and cost effective collision reporting solutions across the country. We’ve developed a number of additional products and services that we are looking forward to offering our new partner agencies to help them keep their communities safe and informed.”

“As we leverage best practices from each organization we expect that law enforcement agencies, involved parties, insurance carriers and other authorized parties needing access to these reports will appreciate having a unified, timely and consistent way to satisfy their crash records needs,” said Davis.

Docview LLC, based out of Lansing, Mich., began helping agencies manage and securely sell crash, crime and fire reports in 2004. Last year, the company partnered with Appriss to offer an electronic crash solution through the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police and the Illinois Sheriffs’ Association.

Deep River LLC, a private software company headquartered in Old Saybrook, Conn., offers secure online crash report access to motorists, insurance companies and other authorized parties. Hundreds of New England police departments utilize their e-commerce service and the additional tools offered to help analyze crash data, study trends and develop measures to reduce vehicle crashes in high incident areas.
