Not sure why this article even mentioned Flagstone Reinsurance Holdings or their meager $10.9 million loss from another recent hurricane that affected New York state. What’s not mentioned is their ytd income, as well as prior income and an explanation of its losses that has produced negative per share earnings since going public in 2007. While I’ve not seen their annual reports, a miserly dividend of $.04/sh (1.81% yield)would not likely encourage investors to get on board.
