XL and Hays Launch New Dental Professional Liability Insurance Program

XL Group plc’s Select Professional insurance underwriting unit and Hays Affinity Solutions, a division of Hays Companies of Minneapolis, Minn., are offering professional liability insurance to dentists countrywide.

According to Hays Affinity President Tom McDonough, “We’re excited to team up with XL to provide quality coverage and service specifically for dentists. Each of our programs is tailored to meet and exceed the specific needs of the association, the industry they service and, most importantly, their individual members.”

Provided by XL Group’s Greenwich Insurance Company, the Dental Professional Liability program is designed for dental offices with 20 or fewer dentists in the practice and offers limits of liability to $5 million. Policies are available on an occurrence or claims-made basis.

Available coverage options include HIPAA defense coverage, disciplinary action, medical waste legal defense, medical payment coverage, defense assistance reimbursement, military leave or disability and optional practice liability.
