Isn’t it a pathetic commentary on the human race when it takes several fatal crashes and multiple unecessary deaths to “rekindle interest in bipartisan legislation that would require regulators to act on longstanding bus safety recommendations? There should be nothing bipartisan about bus safety. How do we allow career politicians to play games with human lives? How does a governor ingore the petty squabbling of his politicians?
