This is what business interruption insurance is for. It’s pretty bad when an American company turns around and sues an American airline for damages caused by a group of terrorists from some 3rd world country. The airline had neither actual nor constructive notice some towel heads would jack planes and fly them into skyscrapers. The event was un-precedented. This is what our pathetic legal system is based on; allow trial attorneys to mine every unfortunate event for fun and profit.

This is absolutely obscene! The 658 employees killed in this atrocity los their lives, their families lost their husbands, wives, mothers, fathers, etc., and this company is actually suing because they allegedly will suffer a loss a $1 billion in future income. On top of which, is their pathetic theory that it’s the airlines’ responsibility to pay for this. Since, it is obvious that their only concern is for the ‘bottom line’ of their business, maybe they should consider hiring some new employees to earn the money to fill their coffers!

I don’t to see how they can hold the Airline reposnsible for this terrorist act. It is similar to having your car stolen and then the thief crashed it into someone else. I thought people were not held liable for acts of an unknown third party. Sympathies to the families of the fallen but I hope this lawsuit fails completely. It all has to end somewhere.

“…maybe they should consider hiring some new employees to earn the money to fill their coffers!” …

They probably have already outsourced their employees to Saudi Arabia.

What’s even more obscene is the fact that some scumbag attorney took this pitiful excuse for a case and that some pathetic judge with no balls allowed it to even be filed.

Check out their website — they’re into everything from gambling sytems to determining life insurance settlements. Exactly what the rag-head sob’s were targeting. Let ’em sure the responsible parties, not the victims.

This is an insult to those who did loose their lives in the building. Shameful….
