If it wasnt bad enough that this oil spill had to happen and cause the damage to the environament that it did, you then have scumbags like this trying to take advantage of the effort to indemnify people who actually suffered from the loss. Disgusting!

I’d really like to know what the sentences are likely to be for these folks. If they are going to just get slaps on the hand, you can bet the frauds will just keep right on comin’. I think they should make them pay fines equal to the amount they tried to fraud, go ahead and garnish their assets and wages for it. Most of the time these crimes get off light.. and we wonder why fraud is rampant.

if there is a few, i bet there are many due to the amount of claims… i bet the FBI will be busy… you are right, what kind of sentencing will they get? maybe they should be used to pull those tarballs by hand from the sand? (hard labor i think and giving back to the community)…

They should have to serve community hours in the clean up of the oil spill.

But who’s prosecuting the corrupt politicians? What the people in this article stole is chump change compared to what the obama cronies got as their share of his $20 billion theft from BP, an unconstitutional taking of property without due process of law.

One would hope that these frauds are publicized and the Feds pursue the big fish, no matter who they are, that submitted fraudulent claims also. Also hope we hear about them!

It’s great to have our “gov’t” looking
to protect BP.Meanwhile, all”the little guys” are left to sink or swim on their own.The priorities seem to be in the right
    place
