I’d like to know where these people are working that they’re getting 14-18 days of sick leave. I take it, most of it is unpaid?

I get three weeks of paid sick leave a year and can build up time past that threshold if I don’t use it.

The question may be.. where are you working?

Hey Flag Day, a better question is…where are YOU working? With 3 weeks of paid sick leave a year, you have better than average bennies. Any job openings?

I actually work with Flag Day–I currently have 14.5 weeks of sick leave built up. Even though we may be able to accrue large amounts of sick leave, we still must meet dependability requirements. The large amount of sick leave mainly comes in when having to take extended periods of leave approved under the FMLA.

I only have 31 days of sick leave accumulated. I guess that makes me a bum.
