I guess you don’t remember the polio epidemic that ran through this country i nthe late 40’s and early 50’s. Have you ever seen an iron lung? If you are younger than 55, I guess you haven’t because the Salk and Sabin vaccines wiped out that disease. Same with measles, mumps, and a few other goodies, like diptheria, and smallpox, for starters. You don’t remember all the deaf kids born because their pregnant mothers were infected with German measles (rubella) do you?

This is for the greater good and the govt has every right to demand people get vaccinated.

There will always be some that have adverse reactions, just like there will always be bad things that happen to good people. That is no reason to scrap universal vaccination.

As for autism, actually, the current research that I have read seems to be leaning to the cause being the incredible barrage of (unregulated) chemicals that have increased exponentially in our environment…in our air and water. Some children are being affected by these and perhaps getting autism…just like there is an incredible proliferation of asthma among our kids nowadays which no one can seem to explain. Or ADD or ADHD… I am sure some of this is better diagnosis (no one ever heard of autism when I was a kid and ADD kids were just “hyperactive”.

By all means, do the research and get to the facts of why this is happening, but do not throw universal vaccination out the window before the facts are all in.

As someone who has worked with autistic adults, I kind of hope a slew of lawsuits do spring up over this issue. Perhaps we’ll get serious about finding out why the dramatic rise in autism among our children is taking place.

We have become a health care dictatorship with vaccines and meds forced upon us – want to go to school, camp, college, the armed forces, travel abroad – no way to opt out of vaccines legally. Kind of like forced flouridation of public water supplies. Most disease is prevented by sanitary living and a fresh foods lifestyle. Too bad the American public isn’t allowed to think for themselves and make our own decisions. No one knows the long term effects of these treatments on the individual and even future generations.

You could move to, oh, I don’t know, say Africa or the Australian outback, out in the wild and make your own decisions, etc.

I think your work with adults with autisim is admirable. Having empathy for these people is one thing but how does that relate to hoping for a slew of lawsuits? To me that just takes away from us trying to find a solution. There is not a correlation or causation YET that I have seen regarding vaccines and autism.

I was about to say the same thing. Also Chem Trails. Just what are those jets spraying around that is falling on us?

That could explain the increase in many illnesses and diseases
