Hello Mr. Obama, sir. Since you own 80% of AIG, you now owe Ohio $580 million. I am sure you can figure out some tax to raise to get the money.

Per the terms of the settlement AIG admits to no wrongdoing — just wanted to add that since this article omitted it.

Looks like the Senators and the House of Reps bought a bad business. You’d think that since these yahoos up on capitol hill have business degrees, they’d have looked into AIG a little better before purchasing it. Hmmmmmm, owning 80% of a crooked company by a 90% crooked government. Makes sense now, it’s an improvement!

this is why it should have went bankrupt. i bet that there is more to come. now, who’s money is paying for this? the bailout money? probably. this is getting ridiculous. if folks were more apt about this as they are about the oil spill, then we might have the correct legislature in congress. it’s too bad they keep re-electing the same folks in. they only get replaced when they pass away (like kennedy and byrd). they should have a retirement age as well, to provide a new overview or look on what is a priority to be taken care of. how many of you seen the white house press conference about the unemployment? if it’s been through congress 3 times, and we still are not getting folks employed, then folks will not have any money to get food or get shelter. how many folks need a lift because the economy is not hiring? it’s a shame!
