    Jettison all such crimes; they’re a joke and it’s unconstitutional to punish a criminal for intent. Assault and battery is just that and it’s a crime.

    This just shows another unintended consequence of liberal stupidity.

    And, funny how their are no heterosexual white men committing these crimes. Oh wait, that’s right, heterosexual men aren’t protected by the law anymore, I forgot.

    It’s not unconstitutional to punish intent. It’s the difference between premeditated murder and manslaughter. Any intent that increases the risk to society, increases the culpability of the crime.
