There are many scientist including the one at the EPA who now believe we have little control over CO2 emissions. So answer my question. When everything they tell us never happens when do we call them on it or is the cool aid that powerful Sleeps Well. I am all for not poluting and a clean environment but lets not waste time and money on junk science.

I did not say the waters of New York were cooler. He said the waters would put New York underwater. If they are going to do that they better hurry up as they are running out of time.

Cap and Tax is the biggest fraud ever foisted on man.

Put incentives on “clean and green”, not taxes that every man woman and child in developed countries have to pay for.

Start where we are now, and LOWER taxes on business that improve. That will make a positive change on behavior and not add costs to consumers who pay for everything anyway.

You think China, Russia, India will intentionally bankrupt themselves?

We don’t need a world tax or complicated scheme that lines Al Gore and his cronies pockets with cash…

    Really?

Most credible scientists (those without a political agenda) are suggesting that the earth is tilting toward the sun and we are in fact enjoying a warming trend, but not as a result of industrial pollution. Further, that this is, in fact, considered to be a normal cycle.

How about you share your information source (please, no Al Gore citations) and I’ll inundate you with mine?

Not to beat a dead horse here but try to find a scientist that is not funded by Federal money that believes in man made global warming. Besides, I think the time between the Cretaceous and the Tertiary periods may have seen far more rapid global climate change.

Global Warming, Global Cooling. Did you forget that God can do whatever he wants without us even knowing? Sleep Well Tonight is what I do every night knowing that I dont have to fear the “impending doom” that politicians dump on us. Find the money trail and you’ll find a politician. They want healthcare reform for monetary control. They want Federal Insurance Regulation for monetary control. Global Warming is for monetary control. God controls it all, including whether or not the world gets hotter or cooler.

    Really.

I have no doubt that some (not MOST) credible scientists theorize that we are tilting toward the sun. There are a million theories out there, none of which can ever be fully proved. I could bog you down with countless Googled websites, but I won’t. I realize for every website address I give you, you can give me one back that refutes every point made. I tend to get my info and viewpoints from films and documentaries (I’m NOT referring to Al Gore’s). I also saw a very compelling exhibit on climate change a year ago at my local aquarium. I imagine a polictical agenda could be dug up on them as well, but I can’t think of anything out there in today’s world that isn’t attached to politics or money.

I just find it difficult to believe that years of industrialization and massive overpopulation has not had a MAJOR impact on this earth. Are there other, non man-made factors invoved? Of course there are! I just feel that a little common sense (not Kool-aid driking) is warranted in this situation. I’m not saying the world is going to implode any time soon, but it’s pointless to dig your heels in and say we shouldn’t be making major changes to clean up our crap.
