Baxtor – I expect your ranting and raving from an uninformed taxpayer, but not someone who is connected to the insurance industry and should know better. Act like the insurance professional that you hold yourself out to be. BTW, if you really knew what was going on, you would know there are promises for compensation in 2010 that will likely make up for going unpaid in 2008-9. No one does anything like what Liddy is doing for nothing. We, the taxpayers, can’t pay him enough for digging the government out of the mess they created when they rescued the business.

You forget I am a tax payer too! As is everyother AIG US based employee. That being said, we are well-informed tax payers.

I assume based on your rants on this article and every other AIG article you have an axe to grind.

May I suggest reading and becoming informed prior to your lovely little rants. AIG and AIU do have public information posted for those who want to be informed and most of it is independent 3rd party unbiased information.

Oh and watch all you want, there’s 44,000 of us watching you and your rants.

You need us to do our jobs. Negative rants won’t help us to do our jobs and payback our company’s debt. We want out of this mess as 43,600 of us had nothing to do with this mess!

EXCELLENT questions Obama Man! The media is certainly not going to hold him accountable, for fear of being shut out of future opportunities to throw easy questions his way.

And why isn’t he foregoing his salary? He made millions on his memoirs so he can certainly afford it. Maybe everyone in the WH should have an incentive-based compensation package based on economic factors.

Liddy did not cause the mess at AIG. That blame should go to Hank Greenberg who claims to be a hands on CEO, but allowed this mess to happen. Now we the taxpayer own the company, and I want to be paid back in full.

Did you tell Citibank to pay you back in full? Did you tell the auto industry and the other US banks to pay you back in full?

Go chance down Hank and tell him that it was his fault and you want to be paid back in full. oh and tell him that we the employees that are still here working…well we are sick of dealing with the scrutiny. Tell him to stop ranting too.

Amen Insurance Chick2. I blame the government for bailing out AIG as well. That’s why before the elections I looked to see if my politician voted for the first bailout and if he/she did, I would not have voted for them. I wish the rest of America would have done the same, but as we all know, most were relected.

Get back to work. Is that what we the taxpayer pay AIG employees, to play on the internet? Maybe we can cut the staff in half and still get the same amount of work done. And do you honestly believe the government will get paid back 100%, or just get some worthless stock? And since you know so much, does the government have a stake in the new AIU or are they/we stuck with the crap left with AIG (worthless stock at that point). Educate me with your vast knowledge on this.

    1) I am on vacation all week.
    2) And may I ask what are you doing on the internet posting rants? I assume your emaployer is pleased with your performance? Or if self employed, why your business is suffering?

    3) As far as Federal Reserve interest in the subsidiaries, spin-off etc, the website is http://www.aig.com or http://www.aiuholdings.com.
