I understand that all too well; what I was pointing out is that Bush is/was a republican and the GOP championed him as their man in the White House. Only now that the GOP lost the election are they looking back to their platform for a new identity. Regardless of W’s deviations, the regime and its policies were identified as republican. I don’t think he gave away anything additional to minorities, except letting unskilled laborers to continue to work in the USA; this rescue package seems to be more like welfare for Wall Street than for individuals.

You deserve the socialism coming your way! I heard today Obama is considering a $1.00 gas tax, because gas is getting too low to keep the preasure on the energy policy and create alternative fuels. Hmmmmm. I bet you like that, You deserve all the government you get.

Bill you should follow the news. Govt got bigger under Bush, thats why conservatives hate him too.

What about Obama is socialist? Under every president rich people have had to pay more taxes – This is just more of the same.

You should really follow history more closely instead of believing everything you hear from the failed McCain campaign.

Let me guess, Obama is a Muslim who will kill us all! Thankfully most people arent as foolish as you, and didnt believe the lies.

You my friend, are a dying breed.

It seems one of the best investors out there is the unions. For their investment of 80 million in Barak Obama’s campaign they are already asking for starters 25 Billion to Bail out the lucrative pensions of their members with the Auto Industry. We haven’t seen anything of the returns the Unions are going to be expecting on their investment. Our President elect is already starting to make promises of pay backs.
