I’m in favor of getting rid of the NFIP altogether, but recognizing that this would probably be an extreme hardship for some homeowners, I’d favor phasing out eligibility for each building as its ownership changes. What we DON’T need is an expansion of this mismanaged bailout program to include other cat risks.
