Ok, so history wasn’t my best subject, but I still think my original post stands on its own with a couple of minor changes. So, we ask Texas to give themselves to Mexico. As far as the illegals are concerned, I agree with you 100% that we have encouraged their entry by not enforcing our labor laws, but I think you missed my point some. I was referring to all illegals in all 50 states to be deported to Texas and then give it back to Mexico. Not just the ones already in Texas. Hey, it’s Friday and after this 3 day workweek, I am willing to cut you some slack.
So we all agree that the problem isn’t the illegals, but the employers who hire them. Then isn’t the simple solution more significant penalties – and i mean significant – for those who hire illegals?
I think that in itself shows what a farce the entire issue is. There aren’t more strict penalties, because the illegals are necessary. in fact a necessary perceived evil.
