Does anyone know if Nationwide intends to offer flood coverage in any of the A zones? Probably not! I can’t imagine what reinsurer would want to take on risks in the A flood zones. Dirty Work is correct in that only a government has a deep enough pocket to insure a flood risk outside of the B,C or X zones.
If N’Wide has such an appetite for risk, then why have they stopped writing new policies in most, if not all of Florida. It’s hard to take N’wide seriously.
