This is a charade and a joke. This piece of human garbage spent 25 years raping the system and living the good life after with a piece of $200M in fees. Why it took our brilliant prosecutors that long to uncover the scheme doesn’t speak well for their competency. Now, because of “his advanced age and character” his defense attorneys don’t want him to spend more than 2 years in the slammer? This sentence is an insult to all decent people. During the prime years of his pathetic lying and cheating life he enjoyed himself while driving up costs for everyone else. Now, as he’s nearing the end of his life, he should skate on the prison time becasue he’s old? This is nonsense and goes to prove that there’s clearly a double standard among legal whores. And let’s hear it for the prosecution that wanted all of 33 months for this scumbag.

I fully agree with the acrimony evident in the voice. OUR ADVOCATES in the legal system allowed this to occur for 25 years and through 225 different legal transactions before catching on. Obviously, justice is not only blind; it’s stupid, slow and exceedingly lenient to those who have a JD after their name.

Milton deserves to die in jail. This scumbag did more to harm our system and way of life than anyone who’s gone to the chair over the last 20 years. Anything other than the maximum sentence is disgraceful, and as a member of the bar, makes me furious.

I think they should confiscate all of his property. Isn’t that what they do to drug kingpins who also cause terrible harm to society?

His age wasn’t so “advanced” over the last 25+ years, nor has his “character” changed any. Time to play catch-up & sentence him to 33 years rather than months and have him pay the $220mm back too & cut out all this BS.

It’s heartwarming to read all the excellent comments. Too bad the fools wearing the robes and sitting on their fat a s s e s behind the safety of “the bench” don’t get to see them.
