The safety community has been worrying about this for years. I haven’t seen a safety symposium in the last three years that hasn’t had at least one lecture on nanotechnology. We just don’t know anything about it from an occupational risk standpoint.
Thankfully NIOSH has been studying nanotechnology for the past couple of years. I haven’t seen anything truly definitive yet in the trade rags, but what I am seeing shows progress toward standards and better information on protecting our workers.
Well the poor liberals are more like mice in a democrat research lab. But like Sir Charles said: “poor people have been voting for democrats for 50 years, but they are still poor”.
