“My job ultimately is to save lives and reduce damage of property,” Cione said. Wasting money on drones so meteorologists can better understand hurricanes isn’t going to add any value to the current system. This is more wasteful spending in an effort to do the impossible so a bunch of geeks can have fun. They can’t prevent them, can’t diminish their force, and knowing how bad you’re going to get your *** kicked is of no value. The current warning system provides ample time to board up and get out.
