It’s difficult to respond to Thomas and Freedom since they don’t live in the real world. There is some fantasy world out there for left wing nuts that if we all “peace out” and hug the world will love us and live together in harmony. Get real. It was a Kennedy quote. He fought for other’s freedom in a war. He would be appalled to see where his party has gone in the last 45 years. You have the same problem most liberals have, you assume that you are more intelligent and informed than the general run of citizens. Liberals are the most close minded citizens we have in this country. You know best and don’t allow any argument. If we don’t agree with you we are idiots. Our country has little future if you actually take power. It’s really hard for me to believe that people are really as ignorant as you seem to be.

I’d support mandatory recalls under certain circumstances, but I haven’t thought enough about it to determine exactly what those circumstances would be. It would be interesting to read the proposal.
