After living in Florida for 40 years and only having one direct hit, which was Charlie in 2004, I am hopeful that this season the major hurricanes will flounder off the atlantic and avoid U.S. land fall totally. Prayer and being prepared are the essentials.

I live in Grenada. we have had two hurricanes in 10 months, Ivan and Emily. I am already prepared; tapauline, candles, food, checklist and shutters on all my windows. I can only hope that we are Ok this season but my only solution for me is to prepare and relax.
