Sounds like a good plan…Storm damage evaluations are not easy and this “aid” will helpful if used to assist the policyholder in understanding the actual scope of the damage. If the idea is to send the drone out to look then to handle the claim on the phone I think it’s gonna be a P/R nightmare….I’m sure State Farm will use the drones as an aid and not as a claim rep. KMD.
My only concern as an IA is that one day claims will be handle by third world adjusters making $10.00 an hour doing everything by satellite communications. I won’t see it at my age, but the next generation of new adjusters sadly probably will.
