Pedestrians, Cyclists Need Consistency at Rail Crossings

    Couldn’t agree more. We definitely need to educate pedestrians and cyclists on the need for extreme caution in and around railway crossings. Various entities have begun a one year campaign here in Southern California on this very issue.

    NONSENSE! Remember the rule “STOP,LOOK, & LISTEN”? Nothing more need be done. There is no excuse to get hit by a freakin’ train. Carless and stupidity can’t be legislated or prevented.

    I tend to agree with Paul above. It is not that hard to stop, look left and look right. Part of being a citizen means using common sense when riding a bicycle.
