What we really need too be looking at is the housing industry. Taking cheep bids from plumbing and electrical company’s that are hiring uncertified workers driving down wages making the certified worker’s pay the price. Meanwhile the state is sitting back collecting money for the “required”certification program with the promise of better wages and legal workers, but not enforcing the laws they put in play (ie:California home builders in the Inland Empire, Standard Pacific Homes, Shea Home, Meritage etc.). We also need to also focus on the Electrical Contractors breaking the laws (ie: Victor Electric, Astro Electric, PC Electric, Sprint Electric, Schamber Electric, Sunwest Electrical etc.)
The reslut of this is poor wokman ship and safety of home buyers unaware of the dangers of homes (FIRE)
