Too bad the insured’s will be paid ACV only, with major hold backs applied untill all of the repairs are done. The second half of the homeowner’s issues will be when the mortgage lenders hold up their funds and the final blow comes when the Insurance Comapnies hire outsourced staff and pay them peanuts. Expenses to be on the road as a cat adjuster have risen significantly, yet the carriers know we are all starving and the fee schedules put in place for us to make a living at are pathetic. MO/AL/TN/AL/VA, same story. It will be interesting to see how the less experianced adjusters handle this situation and the more experieced and seasoned adjusters will eventualy be paid to come in and clean up the mess made by these cheapo fee schedules. When you pay peanuts, you get monkeys. PERIOD.
