3 weeks ago I moved back to MN from a town near Richland Center. This does not surprise me at all. There are not a lot of Mensa level folks running around that town. The Pine River runs through Richland Center and every spring it floods with melting snow. Every spring I would see kids playing in the rushing water (of course, there is less fecal matter in the snow melt-off)and wonder where the parents were. I really hope the child will be OK and I wish somebody could/would charge the parents with something.

Of course, it is not the parents fault that this poor child was playing in contaminated flood water. Please place your picks for whom will get sued:
FEMA
Army Corp of Engineers
State of Wisconsin
County officials
City officials
Any other ideas?
All of them……….
God
Mother Nature
George Bush
the parents should be added to the list for poor parenting skills
looks like they have the primary blame
WOW. What a novel idea. Parents taking responsibility for watching their kids
