How is it that homeowners insurance covers what someone does in the town square while rabble rousing? What if one lives in an apartment? Must he have renters insurance to protest?

Being I live the same community where this lady is protesting (Valparaiso), I know first-hand of how distracting they are to motorist driving near the Courthouse Square.

Yes, you have a right to Free Speech, but this group of radicals are outrageous in their behavior. The funny thing is that I doubt any of them have full-time jobs because they are out there on a regular basis. Likely off-springs to those who protested the Vietnam War.

As for the real question, I doubt very seriously the Personal Liability portion of the homeowners policy would extend coverage to an insured protesting like they are. An excellent question for the coverage guru\’s of personal insurance.

IT IS SAID THAT THIS PERSON IS PROTESTING AMERICAN MEN AND WOMEN PROTECTING HUMAN LIVES IN IRAQ. WE SHOULD GIVE HER A TICKET TO IRAN OR SYRIA AND A BURKA SO SHE CAN PROTEST THE REAL ENEMY. LETS SEE HOW LONG THEY WOULD PUT UP WITH HER. ANYWAY WAS HER HOMEOWNERS POLICY INDENDED TO PORTECT HER WHILE PROTESTING.I THINK NOT.

The question remains, why must one have homeowners insurance to protest? As for those who are too poor to afford it, do they get a pass? If the law stipulates that one must have some kind of insurance to hold a demonstration, so be it. Everyone must obtain it, rich, poor or in between. Can poor people not cause damage to people and property? And it they do, are the victims just outa luck?
