Thing about some of our county lock ups. They are being subbed out — run by majorly greedy for-profit corporations, cut corners any way they can, particularly in providing adequate health care and even marginal safety to the other inmates.

We should remember, after an arrest, some people cannot make bail and are being held prior to trial in the county lock up. Without have been proven guilty.

You could be in the county lock up with big time felons the jail has contracted out to house, pretty tough guys and gals,
awaiting shipment to the state joints. For two years to forever.

So if you\’re in the county for a misdemeanor I guess it doesn\’t matter what you did to get in there, to the really really angry people who have nothing to lose and decide they don\’t like you and get in the mood to rearrange your face.

This is an interesting coverage issue for the LIFE insurance folks. I wonder if the killer had auto insurance? Maybe the dead man could collect funeral benefits under the killer\’s auto policy because this incident was related to auto insurance related. In any case the killer will get a surcharge: About 5000 volts.

A citizen is driving without a certain piece of paper in his possession and is put in JAIL???!! What a wast of taxpayer money, law enforcement time, jail space, but most of all, a waste of an innocent life. Yes, INNOCENT. THE VEHICLE WAS INSURED !!! In the information age, this could have been verified in 5 minutes. You don\’t need to put people in jail for this! What\’s the matter with you people??

Cops have an average High School GPA of 1.4 and rarely go to a postsecondary institution for higher learning. Even then they major in \”criminal justice\” – a degree area that the top universities never offer because it is not considered academic. I say we make these cops go to college for philosophy or history or a liberal arts area that provides an education and some much needed common sense.

You can\’t get common sense from any school. You either have it or you don\’t. 95% of family fotunes in this country originated from people with no college and some have very little high school.
