    He was convicted of fraud but only has 40 hours of community service and $600 in fines. I realize he had to pay restitution but let’s great real! His sentence was suspended. Not much of a deterrent for others.

    I agree with Jill, but it is important to remember that when a defendent is willing (and financial able, which is very rare) to make full restitution, a suspended sentence is not uncommon at all. However, the question then becomes: Is this Justice? Probably not…
