Australia has had a national data base on stolen and major damaged vehicles for many years. Of course we only have 20 million people and 30 million vehicles. Our country was colonised by UK’s unwanted criminals and so, to some extent, attempted fraud against insurers has developed into something of a national sport. But the national data base does give insurers the best ammunition to defeat the felons and avoid paying claims.
And as for Mr Y K Raja – is this guy a salesman for identity cards? I would have thought that thumb-print imaging (as used by the USA Immigration department to control aliens entering the country under assumed identities) is the current state of the art for eliminating identity fraud.

Fraud is the fastest crime in Britain and yet banks ignore to implement personalised signature system to stamp out this crime with minimal cost, effort and fuss. WHY?

NOW ONLY banks can protect us from fraudsters by providing us ID stickers so that we can personalise our signatures.

Once you have digested following details you will agree that now banks should supply ID stickers so that signatures can be personalised to deter use of fake, forged and stolen documents and hence deter all types of fraud including identity fraud.

FRAUD WILL BE A THING OF PAST IF WE PERSONALISE OUR SIGNATURES.

From following details it is obvious that we will reduce virtually all fraud crimes to ZERO if financial institutions and Social Security provide us pocketsize books of ID stickers so that we can instantly personalise signatures on all their signature dependent documents.

Probably the only way to deter fraud crimes is to personalised our signatures with ID stickers. ID stickers are small stickers with person’s photo and name printed on them. To personalise signature on ANY document all we have to do is to apply ID sticker to the document and countersign. This system WILL deter fraudsters from getting tempted to use FAKE, FORGED and STOLEN documents because in the event of crime their conclusive identity will get exposed without using CCTV image, equipment or even ID document.

Personalised signature system (PSS) is foolproof because

*Even if the name and signature is bogus, photo will increase the risk of getting prosecuted from next to none to virtually 100% by giving police option to expose identity on â€Åâ€ŔWanted for questioning” page in national papers.

*Disguises will not work either because using right software police will be able to remove them.

*No one would get tempted to use other people’s ID stickers since these stickers would be personalised to individuals via their photos.

*No one will get tempted to misuse other people’s ID sticker to fake crime because police will be able to establish that the crime was faked by proving that the person in question was not at that point of transaction at that moment in time.

*Currently we have no answer how to identify and prosecute fraudsters but if we use personalised signatures on delivery notes fraudsters will not have answer how to do mail order fraud without getting identified and prosecuted. Is this not a good reason why financial institutions and DSS should implement proposed system till they find a better system?

WARNING: All ID cards are now outdated because a) normal ID cards will get forged and b) database dependent ID cards will encourage fraudsters to use fakes of these ID cards where reading equipment is not present. Normal ID card, which will activate photo printers to print ID stickers will be reliable and foolproof because in the event of crime fraudster’s conclusive identity will be exposed on document in question.

… The British Bankers’ Association (www.bba.org.uk), APACS (www.apacs.org.uk) and Metropolitan police (www.met.police.uk) have information and facts about cheque and bankers’ draft FRAUD on their websites.

Card companies can reduce mail order fraud by supplying cardholders their pocketsize books with 64 ID stickers (costing well under £5) so that they can personalise signatures on delivery notes. Probably this the only way to deter mail order fraud. Cost of implementing this simple but effective stsrem will be justified by boosting mail order business and save massive losses caused by fraud. Dear Mr.George Alexander

I am against ID cards because normal ID cards will get forged and biometric ID cards will divert fraud to sectors where card reading equipment is not present.

Fake IDs are making signature system unreliable. To make signatures reliable again all I am suggesting is to personalise them with our ID stickers which will have our photos and names printed on them. Pre-printed ID stickers will eliminate the need to rely on CCTV images, equipment, PIN numbers and even ID documents because in the event of crime police will be able to expose fraudster’s photo on â€Åâ€ŔWanted for questioning” page in national papers.

Financial institutions can justify cost of supplying us pocketsize books containing 64 ID stickers costing between £2 – £4 by encouraging use of their now reliable documents and saving losses by reducing following fraud crimes to virtually ZERO.

Identity fraud, misuse of PIN number fraud, cheque fraud, bankers’ draft fraud, mail order fraud (via personalised signatures on delivery notes), bogus con-trader fraud (via personalised signatures on receipts) etc.

Personalised signature system will be foolproof because

*In future we could use national ID Keys (memory sticks) which will activate photo printers at any point of transaction to print single or multiple ID stickers plus hold our medical details and act as portable hard drives.

Fingerprint system too is now unreliable because a) it is database dependent and b) chemicals can be used to cover fingerprint details.
