The primary aim of the Inquiry Team led by Monsieur Jean Berthier is to establish the FACTS of the collapse, which in turn will assist the French Criminal Authorities to investigate the criminal procedings (if any)at a later juncture.
God help any further criminal proceedings if they rely on the HOGWASH produced by Monsieur Jean Berthier. The TRUE FACTS have NOT, repeat NOT been established by Jean Berthier,on the contrary there has been wider conspiracy to conceal serious crimes. The terminal collapse inquiry is DEEPLY FLAWED and is without transparency.
There is credible evidence of omissions, inactions and failures by Jean Berthier which WILL pervert the Course of justice.
So much for the French Justice System but it does not suprise me because the European Ombudsman advised me he could not investigate serious crime allegations on the Chad/Cameroon Pipeline Project (CCPP)because E.U. funds were NOT used. What HOGWASH, as over 145 million euros were loaned to the CCPP, verifiable at the EIB website????!!!
In a nutshell Monsieur Jean Berthier is at best, an Incompent Buffoon or worst, a FRAUDSTER.
    WAKEUPCALL LONG OVERDUE.

    Quote:
Berthier’s report pointed to four connected causes: 1) insufficient or badly positioned structural steel; 2) lack of mechanical “redundancy,” in that the stresses were concentrated and could not be shifted to other structural components; 3) concrete beams that offered too little resistance to stress and use, and 4) the positioning of metal supports within the structural concrete.

So what happened to the VERY COLD TEMPRATURES of 39F which Monsieur Berthier first attributed to the roof collapse?????!!!
In view of the above WHY THE HELL HAVE they wrapped the concrete pillars with Fiber???????

    Quote from Monsieur Berthier’s report:

“The concrete roof was apparently deteriorating, investigators say
The collapse of part of a terminal at Paris airport in May was caused by metal supports perforating its concrete roof, an initial inquiry has found.
Four people died and three were injured when the concrete and glass building caved in at Roissy-Charles de Gaulle.

Investigators found the metal support structure had perforated the concrete, causing it to split and fall in.

The exact reasons were not known, said the report, but the concrete was probably deteriorating.

    TERMINAL 2E
    Opened in June 2003
    Cost: 750m euros (£500m)
    Floor space: 104,000 sq m
Capacity: six million passengers a year
Made from reinforced concrete and 36,000 sq m of glass
    Plane parking gates: 10
“The main cause of the collapse is linked to perforation of the concrete archway by (cylindrical metal struts),” the transport ministry said.

“It’s probable that this perforation was made possible by the prior gradual deterioration of the concrete.”

Monsieur Berthier has since ruled out any defect or flaws with the Concrete which beggars belief. ALL the concrete pillars have since been wrapped in carbon fiber which ALSO beggars belief.
How the hell concrete can deteriorate in less than 12 months, unless there is a SERIOUS DEFECT is totally beyond me.
    Wakeupcall long overdue.

The Paris Airport Authorities have decided to demolish the the terminal roof sections and rebuild. I do NOT accept this is the correct decision and the WHOLE buidling should be demolished and rebuilt because the instability of foundation concrete pillars were the ROOT cause of the roof collapse.
If the roof is rebuilt on the current sub-standard concrete pillars the roof sections will STILL be in danger of collapse.Furthermore the decion to rebuild the roof was taken in the interest of public safety but to rebuild the roof section on sub-standard pillars is compromising public safety.

“We studied different possibilities of repairing the roof but discarded them because none of them offered an absolute safety guarantee,” Graff said in an interview. “I can’t take even the smallest safety risk.”

The above quote was released by Madam Graf of the French Airport Authoritites but if she is SERIOUS about public safety she would have demolished the foundations ALSO because that was the ROOT CAUSE of the collapse and NOT the 38C tempreture that the Buffon Berthier recorded earlier in the year.Rebuilding terminal 2E on such sub-standard foundations is too little, too late.
    Wakeupcall STILL over due.

What caused this? There has to be some \”concrete\” information about this somewhere. Somebody knows something. I am doing a research paper and need an answer.

I wonder why the final report into the CD Airport collapse is NOT available in the public domain. Could it be, the report is full of lies and deception in regard to the REAL reason for the collapse, i.e. complicity between the French Goverment and Cowboy Contractors.

It is very surprising and concerning that the full inquiry decision into the fatal collapse of Paris Airport Terminal 2 has not been published??!!
