Again, Claims Journal participates in defaming insurance adjusters. This criminal is obviously a PUBLIC adjuster but the website intentionally leaves that fact out of their article.

Really? ^^^^ it was “obviously” a Public Adjuster? How laughable that you post a reply showing your outrage over defamation and then you defame an industry yourself. Gotta love that selective moral outrage that has become so prevalent these days, damn them, unless I do it myself and then, leave me alone. smh

I don’t see this article as defaming adjusters. It is merely stating the facts of the case probably based on the indictment.

What bothers me is why when a public adjuster gets arrested for doing something illegal they always want to blow the news out of proportion.

DOn’t company adjusters and independent adjusters, (which there are more nationwide that there will ever be public adjusters) also break the law and commit fraud?

I believe the reporting disproportionate and biased when reporting about Public Adjusters in general.

Gustavo, based on your response, I can only conclude that you are also a public adjuster. What, exactly, do you feel was blown out of proportion? A (public) adjuster stolen money from their client and conspired to do so with a client’s employee. How does “merely stating the facts of the case probably based on the indictment”
suddenly become “blowing things out of proportion”?

You would like to assume company and independent adjuster commit crimes on the job to soothe your own conscience. You might want to bring some facts or evidence to the table rather than toss around groundless accusations.

Hey ProGal, Public Adjusters don’t work for the insurance carrier, so your selective moral outrage is baseless, it appears that it was one of “your” guys that did this according to the attached article.

KB, how did you concoct the conclusion that this crime was perpetrated by an insurance adjuster? Insurance adjusters NEVER collect or receive payments on claims. We PAY the claims. The only adjusters who receive checks on behalf of their “clients” are public adjusters. That is why its so obvious that the article is about a public adjuster. However, your defensive reaction to my “selective moral outrage” is a very strong indication that you, as a public adjuster, are already aware of this. Deflect all you like, the facts are still quite clear.
